TOYS FOR TOTS

     Have you ever wondered what the real meaning of Christmas is because you know that it`s not all about presents right? All of the little children love getting presents but they don`t know that  there are children out there in the world that don`t get presents. They are unfortunate because of that reason. All of the kids in the world that get presents are very fortunate.
     I have a great idea. If you feel that you are getting too many presents maybe you should donate one gift per family or person. Instead of going to a store parking lot and putting a wrapped present in a Good  Will Box then maybe you should consider Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots in an organization that collects presents for children that are needy. You might want to donate the presents that you don`t enjoy but another person might. So if you fell that you have too many gifts then look into donating them to Toys for Tots.

         Have you ever been to the beach because I know I have. If you haven`t then I guess your just crazy! When you are at the beach you need to be very careful and follow some rules. here are some good rules to follow at the beach-

1, Always swim directly in front of the lifeguard.

2. Don`t smoke.

3. No glass containers.

4. Dogs not permitted on the beach.

5. Must obey lifeguards directions.

Those are some good and important rules to follow while you are on the beach.

           There are many fun things to do at the beach. Some of the might be to play Frisbee, volleyball, or just go tan and swim in the water. There are a ton of beaches on the east coast some of them are Point Pleasant, Belmar, Cape may, and the beaches in Myrtle Beach. In Cape may the beach is right by lots of mini malls with tons of beach and clothing stores. So if you are looking for a day of fun and then after go shopping then check out some of the places I told you about and go have fun.

        

What To Do With All The Leaves Outside

Ummmmmm I wonder what I could do with all the leaves outside  on the ground that fell off all the trees. Why don`t I make a project with leaves. What I`am going to do is a leaf rubbing. All you need is a leaf or two, A piece of white paper or lined paper, and a crayon of the color of your choice. This is a good project to do with leaves because you can frame your piece of paper and have a picture of a leaf that you made hanging on your wall.If you like this project watch the video and do what says.

A Poem From The Book I`m Reading - I Heart You , You Haunt Me

   A poem from my story - It`s  not long before tears in heaven make their way to my eyes. I like this poem from my story because when you think about someone or something in heaven it will or might bring tears to your eyes.

    What I think the author is trying to get out of this short poem is that when you start to think about a loved one in heaven it will bring tears to our eyes. It might bring tears to your eyes because you have loved and cared for the love one in heaven is that you think of all the memories that you had and made together. In my story there is a girl named Ava and she has just lost her boyfriend so has soon as she got home from his funeral she could not stop crying and thinking about him.That is what this short little poem means.

Are Proud of Your Country?

Are you proud of your country?I know I am.All the volunteers that protect our city,state and even country.Some people help out after a divesting things that happen.

Education:The education that us kids get is very good or even sometimes hard.There are a lot of teachers in the world that went to collage knowing that in there future they would want to  help other children.The teachers are hoping that they do good in there class or classes but if they are not doing good in that specific subject they will give up there personal time to sit down and explain something to the student.So f you want to help teach kids you should look into becoming a teacher or helper.

 Volunteer:If you you want to help out in the town or even your country you should volunteer  for a charity,or just ask someone if they need or would like help.Even if it`s just making dinner for someone or helping out around the house..Want to help out around town then you should! Even if it`s just picking up garbage at the park it`s still helping someone, want to know who - the animals.When you are a firefighter you help our town by getting fires out of buildings or even houses and cars.When you are a police officer you protect our town by keeping our roads safe and the people in our town.
Military:When you are in the military you are helping out the whole country because you would go to another country and fight for our country or might even go and help out a country your not even from.You will leave lots of friends and family and you don`t know if you will get hurt or might not even come back.
So after reading this I hope you will go out in your neighborhood and pick up some trash so if people come visit here they will want to come back,so be proud of your country and keep it clean.

Halloween

  Do you like to trick-or-treat ,and carve pumpkins? Then here`s were it began.The name jack-o-lantern comes from an Irish Folk tale about a man named Stingy Jack.The American tradition of trick-or-treating dates back to the early souls day parades in England.Poor citizens would beg for food so people gave them "soul cakes" in return for their promise to pray for the families dead relatives.

  Do you have some things that bother you about Halloween?I sure do , here they are.When you are home and someone knocks on the door and says " trick-or-treat" you should kindly stop whatever you are doing and give the little kid some candy.So don`t make them stand there forever and give them no candy.When you are out with your friends on Halloween night trick-or-treating and you come to a house with a bowl on the steps and it says take 1 piece just take one don`t think your cool by taking the whole bowl.
   I LOVE HALLOWEEN!Every year for Halloween I like to dress up and I hope you do too.Last year I was a  butterfly and this year I am a bee.All of my friends and I love dress up and go trick-or-treating.I like to do this because you can get lots , and lots of candy.So when you go out on Halloween night get some really good candy and eat it all up.

Pet Peeve

Stopping? Just Go!

   Looking back at last week there was a giant stop in the middle of the pool.The coach was yelling at us like she was training an animal or something."Please just swim and don`t stop in the middle of the pool".

Just Go!!

Introduction: All the swimmers in the fastest lane love to stop in the middle of the pool but it`s not safe at all.

Why:This is very annoying and dangerous because in order to keep swimming you will need to stop and go past them and that will make you stop.

How: This is dangerous because you can get kicked in the face and get a broken nose or a bloody nose.

Experience:Just last week  in warm-up and our coach made us do a 500 free which is 20 laps while the other kids were only doing 4-8 laps.Usually we would do a 2 200 free drill,1 200 im drill and 2 100 stroke drill, nut then we had to do all that and 20 more laps.

Closing:So if you don`t want to do a 500 free don`t stop in the middle of the pool.

Fixing Your Goggles

Introduction: I understand that you need to fix your goggles because there`s  either  water in them or they fog up and you can`t see them but you should really just fix them at a wall.
Why:This really annoys me because you won`t be able to swim as fast as you can if you are worrying if someone is in the middle of the pool,even though I did do this last week I made sure that no one was right by behind me before I stopped.
How:This is annoying because you need to watch were your swimming and that will make you swim a lot slower.
Experience:Yesterday at swim swim practice we had to do 8 laps and in the first lap my goggles were so foggy I couldn't see anything but I didn`t stop in the middle I stopped at the wall.
Closing:Just a little advice for you and other swimmers to do all things at the wall and not the middle of the pool.

Injuries Can Happen
Introduction:You think swimming is a sport that you can`t get hurt , but you could hit your head on the wall or bottom of the pool ,you could even just slip on the pool deck and break your arm or leg.
Why:This annoys me because when you hurt your finger or toe on the lane line you stop but if it`s not that bad  you could wait till you get on the wall.
How:This annoys me because if I get hurt I wait till I get to the wall so if i can wait then everybody else should be able to wait till they get to the wall too.
Experience:Just last week I jammed my finger in the lane line and it hurt really bad but I was able to swim back to the wall.
Closing:So if you get hurt try your hardest to make it back to the wall.
Wrapping Up
  The stopping in the middle of the pool needs to stop and it will stop here.Fixing your goggles,,passing people,talking to friends all can and will need to happen at the wall not the middle of the pool.If you get hurt you can stop because you can need medical attention you might need to stop in the middle of the pool.So I hope after you read this you will think twice before you stop in the middle of the pool.

Rasing Money For Cancer :D

    Have you or anyone you or anyone you know ever have cancer,because I know I have known someone that had cancer and they survived the surgery and their treatment?There are a lot of foundations that raise money for cancer and a very big one is C.A.R.E.All the money they raise at walks or other organization that might have raised money for it all go to cancer research.

    In my school we were raising money for this foundation and we raise a  lot of money.Everyday at lunch we would be able to purchase a sling bag,pencils,or bracelets and all the money that we raised from that went to C.A.R.E . The teachers made a bet with us that if we raised $1,000 or more that some of them would die there hair pink and shave their heads.So when we arrived at school this morning their was a lot of the female staff members had pink hair.When we were in 7 period there were some of the male teachers getting their hair shaved in the gym.So When you see people asking for money you should stop and give them some money even if it`s one penny every bit counts.

My Day As a Cheerleader

 The lights of the football field they are so bright. I have never seen a football  field this big.The first time I stepped out on to that field for practice it was so amazing.The the coach yelling at us making us run and cheer and do so many new things I have never heard about.The clanking of the football players hitting against each other was so loud.The feeling of that brand new puffy terf was so amazing on your feet it felt like you were walking on a giant cloud.  

   The very first game I have ever cheered for that was going to be on TV. The flashing lights of the people taking pictures so many of them.It`s really scary being down on the field everybody looking at you saying she is horrible or wow she is amazing.OMG  the first touchdown of the season WOOHOO GO TEAM During half time we all go into the center of the field and do a dance for the football players having such a good first 2 quarters.I really hope they score a lot of runs and win the game.At the end of the day the team won 4-0.I loved my first game today and will do it again.

Duck Tape

   Have you ever heard of duck tape because I know that I have.You might use it to make designs on the wall if you were going to paint it but probely  not what im gong to tell you what you can do with it.There are a variety of colors and designs not just that plain old silver and blue.If you want to learn how to make something out of duct tape then just read some more and watch the video.
    So im sure your like what is she talking out but you can make alot of things out of duct tape.You could make wallets,pocket books,backpacks and even clothes but I wouldn`t ware a duck tape shirt or shorts it would stick to your skin.If you want to know were to get this you could go to wallmart or target.I would go to wallmart because there cheeper but target has some pretty cool deigns and colors.Im sure your wondering how to make a wallet or something else so just watch the video and learn.

It does," really stood out to me because you might think oh I did something wrong and I`m going to get away with it but your not because someone is always watching , and they will remember what you did wrong. If you did something good like helping someone or helping out around the house your parents might remember what you did and reward you.

Vacation Spots

      Vacations are so much fun for many reasons.There are so many places to visit.If you love the beach go all along the east coast .The east coast is filled with sandy destinations where people can swim or tan.But the farther south you go the warmer the ocean will be.For example Myrtle Beach ,South Carolina is the home of paradise.If you like the mountains go to Colorado,there is a lot of mountains there.These mountains are as high as skyscrapers and if you`re brave enough to climb them beware of the lack of air.If you like camping you can camp anywhere.Vacations are for everyone all you have to do is have fun.

     Today we will talk about Myrtle Beach,South Carolina. South Carolina is like 12 hours south of New Jersey.Every year I drive there.The beach is  awesome,the water is like salty bath water.The sand is so smooth there are no hard shells that you could cut you foot on.On the beach there are banana floats that 10 people can sit on and  jet skis pull them out in the water for a little ride.Every day the ocean is different but there isn`t a day where the water is rough.If you love the beach you should hope in your car for a little ride and head on done to Myrtle Beach!
