How To

                                  Paper Snowflakes

Have you ever been bored on a day close to Christmas and you didn`t know what to get your little sister or brother. Then you should get some paper and scissors so you can make some of these awesome paper snowflakes. You can do all different types of designs just on this little piece of paper. Here are the wonderful instructions on how to make them.

What You'll Need:

  • White paper
  • Compass
  • Pencil
  • Blunt scissors
Step 1: Use a compass to draw a 4-inch circle on a piece of paper. Cut out the circle to make a snowflake.
Step 2: To make a 4-point snowflake, fold the circle in half. Then fold it in half again. If you want to make an 8-point snowflake, fold it in half yet again. To make a 6-point snowflake, fold the paper circle in half, then in thirds, and then in half again.
Step 3: Now use the scissors to snip little bits from the paper. Cut into both sides, the top, and the point. Open the piece of paper to see your snowflake.
To add different designs to your snowflake, make more cuts with special tools such as a hole punch or pinking shears.
Try using special paper for your snowflakes, too. Make snowflakes with colored foils, magazine pictures, tissue paper, or wrapping paper.
Go from one paper snowflake to a whole winter scene. Learn how to make snowstorm art in the next section.

I wonder how someone would feel if you gave them this as a gift for Christmas? Would they be mad, happy, or not like the gift at all. Well here`s how I would feel. If I was like 30 years old and my grandma just gave me this as her gift I wouldn`t like it and I would be upset because I would feel as if she forgot to get me a present so this is what she got me. On the other hand if I was 30 and my little cousin or niece gave me one of these and they said look what I made you then I would like it because I would feel as if they were very happy they made this for me as a present for Christmas.

  HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE FRENCHFRIES

Have you ever thought to yourself that french fries are way to expensive? Well I have! There is probably one night that you are going to order pizza and you want something else with it. You would most likely order some french fries. But then as soon as you turn to the appetizer page you see the worst. The PRICE. All food is really starting to get expensive. If you don`t want to spend 5 dollars on like 10 french fries then why don`t you make them yourself. It might seem a little bit hard but it is really not that hard at all. The only way that it is going to be difficult is if you make it difficult for yourself. Here what you'll need to know to make them.
You'll need 2 to 4 cups of oil depending on how many servings you are making.

Don't overcrowd your fries. Overcrowding will cause breakage and uneven cooking. To use less oil, prepare your French fries in several batches.

Ingredients

Potatoes
Vegetable Oil
Salt (optional)

Directions

*Peel and wash potatoes.
*Slice potatoes into 1/2 x 1/2 inch strips.
*Rinse or soak potato strips in water.
*Let dry (about 5 minutes)
*Drop potato strips into hot (375 degrees) Oil
*Fry until golden brown. (about 5 or 10 minutes)
*Remove from pot and drain on paper towels.

If you're using salt, sprinkle it now.

Serve immediately.
You can serve these delicious fries with anything of your choice. Remember what I said you need to eat them right away they won`t have the same flavor as they should. And then if they are not good then you are going to think that you did something wrong and most-likely you`ll never try to make them again. I hope you enjoy!!
